Levi Anglemyer was born May 1, 1848, in Madina Co, Ohio and departed this life Sept 24, 1922 aged 74 years, 4 mo, 24 days.

At the age of 5 years he with his parents came to Harrison township and settled on the farm on which he died.

He was converted and united with the Church of the Brethren about 30 years ago and left a clear evidence that all is well. He was a good father, always working for the comfort of the family rather than for himself.

He was married to Susan Hartman in February, 1871 who died 16 years ago.

On Jan 16, 1910 he was married to Mrs. Amanda McDannel.

Surviving him are his wife, two daughters, Mrs Luella Wise of Harrison township and Mrs Rose Frederick of near Mishawaka and five sons, Edward of South Bend, Joseph of near Elkhart, William and Perry of near Mishawaka and Elmer who resides on the home farm, also 38 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 3 brothers, Joseph of Riverside, Cal, David and William of near Nappanee and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral at Yellow Creek Mennonite church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. A.B. Yoder of Elkhart and Rev. B. Pontius of Osceola officiated. Burial at Yellow Creek cemetery.
