BARKER-FRANK DEAKINS, age 76, of Whitwell, Tenn., died in a Bridgeport, Ala., hospital Sunday morning. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ida Kelley Barker; two sons, Kay Barker, Whitwell; J. A. Barker, Chattanooga; two daughters, Mrs. Wilson Easterly, Mrs. Buford Condra, both of Whitwell; six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held from Chapel Hill Methodist Church at 2 p.m. CST Tuesday, with the Revs. W. L. Tate, Ed Lewis and Jake Ramsey officiating. Interment in the Chapel Hill Cemetery. The body will remain at the Howard Ewtown Funeral Home, Dunlap, until the hour of service.
