After an illness of pneumonia for the past two weeks, Samuel Garlinger passed away early Wednesday morning. He was about 58 years of age and had lived in this village the most of his life.
Mr. Garlinger and his brother, Benjamin, now deceased, were in the hay and produce business here many years, and they were closely connected with the life of the village. Mr. Garlinger has been in poor health for about two years, he having suffered a stroke about that time.
He leaves besides the widow, a daughter Miss Eva and a son Hubert of Chicago, also brothers and sisters. The funeral will be held at the home Friday afternoon.
