At the age of 95, Marjorie Huntley died Sept. 20, 2008. She was born in England Sept. 20, 1913. She came to the U.S. at 11 years old. She lived in Ocean City until she married "Goody" Henry Huntley. They moved to Port Republic where they lived the rest of their lives. She worked at Oyster Creek Inn for 20 years during the 1950s, ‘60s and ‘70s.
She was predeceased by her husband and her granddaughter, Tina Huntley.
Survivors include her son, grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation and services were Wednesday at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, Northfield. Interment is in Port Republic Cemetery, Port Republic.
