Mary Helen Bost, 91, longtime active member of Casa View and White Rock United Methodist Churches, passed away at her home in Dallas, Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Mary Helen completed her studies at Tyler Junior College in 1938, thereafter, she went to Austin and worked for the Texas Legislature and Texas Highway Department; she and Dan married in 1940 and later moved to Dallas. Mary Helen was born in Electra, TX to Edward Albert and Lulu Brewer McKelvy. She was preceded in death by both her children Nancy and Roy. Survivors are her husband Dan; granddaughter Miranda Marshall, her husband Mark & "soon to be" son Aidan of Roundrock, TX; and grandson Roy D. Bost and his wife Elizabeth of San Diego, CA., and other relatives in the Tyler area. The Funeral Service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2011 in the Chapel of Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home. Rev. Dick Atkinson, officiating. Interment Restland Memorial Park.
