He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Broder Boysen. He was survived by his wife and two brothers: August of Madison, Nebraska and Andrew of Denver, Colorado. He was one of 12 brothers and sisters. They had no children. He came to America when he was 3 weeks old and was baptized on the ship en route. His parents located in Kalamazoo precinct in Madison county, Nebraska.
