He was a native of Haywood County and was the son of Mary Inman Moore, of Waynesville and the late Roy Moore.
He was the owner of Moore Tree Service.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancé, Kendra Moore, of Waynesville; one daughter, Dannett Dillingham, of Candler; one sister, Judy Lanning, of Clyde; two brothers, Rick Moore, of Waynesville and Harold Moore, of Bethel; and two grandsons.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2002 at the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. The Reverend Ricky Mason will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service. At other times, the family will be at the home of the brother, Harold Moore, 2542 Love Joy Road, Bethel.
