MISS ANNA G. AKERS

Formerly of Altoona where she had been employed as a buyer and saleslady in local stores, died at the Morrisons Cove Home for the Aged, Martinsburg, at 10.30 o'clock yesterday morning. She was born in Martinsburg, a daughter of Joseph and Jane Akers, and was a member of First Presbyterian church, Altoona. Surviving are a niece and a nephew, Mrs. W.C. Barr, sr., and Joseph A. Lightner, both of Tyrone. Friends will be received at the Hickey funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.

AKERS – Funeral services for Mrs. Anna G. Akers, formerly of Altoona, will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Hickey Funeral Home, in charge of Rev. Alfred C. Petersen. Interment in Fairview cemetery. Friends are being received at the Hickey Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Friday.
