Ruby married Avery Charles Westphall (1914–1968) and they had the following children: George David Westphall (1941–1986) and two other children. Ruby then marred Simon Samuel Clougherty (1900–1945). Ruby is buried at Skyline Memorial Gardens in Portland, Oregon.
