HUNTSVILLE - Johnnie Ray Walker, 65, of Huntsville, Ark., died Aug. 30, 2011, at his home. He was born May 2, 1946, at Wharton, Ark., the son of Carl and Imogene Walker Bailey.

He had retired from Butterball Turkey Co. after 30 years of service and was a member of Living Water Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by wife, Lucy Tucker Walker, whom he married on March 1, 1965, and who preceded him in death on Aug. 1, 2009. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Bailey; and one sister, Cindy Bailey.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Johnnie Kial and Alecia Walker of Huntsville, Ark.; one daughter and son-in-law, Jonodta and Bill McMillan of Alabam, Ark.; one brother, Timmy Bailey of Cochran, Ga.; two grandsons and one granddaughter-in-law, Isaiah and Lashawn McMillan and Johnnie Cameron Walker, all of Huntsville, Ark.; three granddaughters and two grandsons-in-law, Brandi and Wesley Robinson of Casa, Ark., Kylie and Brett Foster and Stephanie Fowler, all of Huntsville, Ark.; one great-grandson, Trey Fowler of Huntsville, Ark.; three great-granddaughters, Zahara McMillan, Zoie McMillan and Emalee Fowler, all of Huntsville, Ark.; and a host of additional family.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, at the Living Water Baptist Church, with the Revs. Gary Faulkner and Loy Counts officiating. Interment will be in Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home, www.brashearsfuneralhome.net, of Huntsville, Ark.

Pallbearers will be Billy Hickman, Wayne Emitt, Larry Byers, David Howard, Sam Fowler and Jose "Peppy" Vasquez. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Whiteley, Ray Yarbrough, Harold Emitt, Leon Keck, J. T. Grigg, Ernie Paul Walker and the members of Living Water Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
