Harriet M. Manning, 85, died Wednesday, March 27. 1996. at Alden-Terrace Healthcare Center. She was born Aug. 30, 1910 in Chicago to Mr. and Mrs. Roy Haynes. She had been a resident since 1962. Surviving are four daughters, Marilyn (John) Willnecker of Oak Lawn, Annemae (Stanley) Lezon of LaGrange; Carole Knor of McHenry and Georgia (Robert) Boyle of McHenry; a son, George (Linda) Manning Jr. of Huntley; 10 grandchildren; three great-grand children and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Manning in 1977; her parents; a sister, Laura Poole; and a granddaughter, Cathy Lynn Knor. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 28, in the George R. Justen & Son Funeral Home. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 29 in the funeral home, the Rev. Roger Olson officiating. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery.
