She was born June 9, 1904, in Sunny Dell, Idaho, the daughter of John William and Sarah Ann Butler Fawson.
She married Millard William Adling on March 31,1921, in Santa Ana, California. The marriage was later solemnized in the Arizona LDS Temple. She was a member of the LDS Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her children: Frances Barker, Barbara Walter and Donald Adling.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Betty Adling of Rancho Cucamonga, California, two sisters, Sara Ann Hawkins of Provo. Utah and Eunice Burner of Long Beach, California. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 24, at 11 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, Utah.
Interment will be in the Sierra Memorial Park in Nevada City, California.
In lieu of flowers, a trust fund in memory of Gladys has been set up at Myers Mortuary.
