Tom now has nothing but fairways and greens ahead of him. Tom passed away March 3. 2006 after a brief battle with cancer.

Thomas Arlo Adams was born May 16. 1950 in Tremonton, Utah, to Bertie Lou and Arlo Thomas Adams. Tom graduated from Clearfield High. He spent four years in the Navy with the submarine service and was stationed in Hawaii where he met his wife Linda Solo. Tom earned his BA degree from Fresno Pacific University and completed graduate classes at Chapman University.

Tom and Linda have resided in Visalia, CA,the past 21 years. Tom had many hobbies, including fishing, painting. reading, golfing and discovering innovative ways to complete any task. He took great pride in all of his endeavors. They have two beautiful daughters, Pam and Sarah.

In August, Tom traveled to Niagara Falls with his wife and daughters, a place Tom had always wanted to visit. One of Tom's latest adventures was ATV 4-wheeling in the mountains of Utah with his sister, brothers and their families. Tom enjoyed teaching math and English at the Adult School In California.

Tom is survived by his wife Linda, Visalia, CA; daughters Pam, New York; and Sarah, Visalia, CA; mother Bertie Lou Adams, Clearfield, UT; brothers Jim (Shar) Adams, Clearfield, UT; and Alan Adams, Clearfield, UT; and sister Karen (Gary) Sessions, Peterson, UT; mother-in-law Marion Solo, brother-in-law Sheldon Solo, many nieces and nephews.

Tom was preceded in death by his dad Arlo, sister-in-law Cheryl Adams, father-in-law John Solo, grandparents Alberta Hodson and James A. Brittain.

Services were held in Visalia, CA on Thursday, March 9.

The family asks that remembrances be sent to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
