John Carroll Ziegler, a retired carpenter, was married to Reba Joann Reynolds in November 1947. Mr. and Mrs. Ziegler were married in the home of a local Methodist church minister.
John and his wife Reba Joann had 3 children (2 boys and one girl). Their first born - a boy, named Rickie/Ricky Lee - passed away and is memorialized on his mommy's stone. The couple made their home in Tuscola, Illinois.
John's parents were William and Dora Ziegler, and are buried in same cemetery. His siblings were Forrest (Pauline) and Elmo (Ethel).
John's final resting place is Tuscola Township Cemetery.
The top photo was part of his wedding photo to Reba Joann Reynolds in the late 1940s, and republished in a Tuscola Illinois newspaper for their 25th anniversary in the 1970s.
John was my brother-in-law and a son-in-law of my dad, Oscar Rolland.
