David Michael Cox

David was every mothers and fathers dream for a son and a son-in-law. He was also a wonderful husband, father, brother, and grandson.

David never met a stranger. He offered a helping hand to anyone in need.

David's children were the apple of his eye and the light of his soul. Everyone could learn from his example.

David is survived by his loving wife, Tabitha, sons Patric, Nathan, and Aidan, all of Del City, parents Sam and Debbie Cox of Indiana, sister Jennifer Isaac of Indiana, brothers Bobby of Indiana and Jason of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by his local families, the Smith's, Self's, Jester's, Riggs', Bradshaw's, and Reese's, as well as numerous friends and colleagues from Cox Communications.

Services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the John M Ireland Funeral Home 120 S Broadway in Moore, OK.

Donations can be made to the family of David Cox at any Banc First.

David Michael Cox, 29 was born on May 10, 1981 in Hamilton, Ohio and passed away on June 19, 2010 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

David liked skateboarding, snowboarding, fishing and having fun with friends. He enjoyed playing with his boys. He also liked acting like a goof ball, drawing, listening to music and attending concerts. His greatest love was his family. He would always lend a hand if someone needed help.

David is suvived by his wife, Tabitha Cox of the home; 3 sons, Patrick Cox, Nathan Cox and Aiden Cox;
parents, Sam and Debbie Cox; 2 brothers, Bobbie Cox and Jason Cox; sister, Jennifer Isaac; nephews, Christian and Corbyn Jester, Seth Wall, Iziah Cox and Skyler Cox; nieces, Jocelyn Krug, Lula Smith, Ava Smith, and Kaylin Cox.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents.

Funeral Services are 10:00am, Friday, June 25, 2010 at John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel, located at 120 S. Broadway in Moore, Oklahoma.
Interment will follow to Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel.
