NASCHITTI — Funeral services for Audrey Jean Manuelito, 53, will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at the Tohatchi Christian Reform Church. Jerome Sandoval will officiate. Burial will be in Tohatchi Cemetery.

Manuelito died Aug. 7, 2011, in Scottsdale, Ariz. She was born Nov. 24, 1957, in Gallup into the Bitterwater People Clan for the Sleeping Rock People Clan.

anuelito finished 10th grade at Wingate High School and worked at various jobs including housekeeping, a laundry attendant and a sales associate. She enjoyed doing crafts, listening to country/western music, taking pictures and baking varieties of food. Manuelito was an outgoing person who enjoyed being with her grandchildren and friends.

Survivors include her son Lionel Manuelito, of Page, Ariz.; daughter Raylynn Haskie, of Naschitti; brothers Dennis Manuelito Sr., of Springstead, N.M., Freddie Manuelito and Roger Manuelito, both of Gallup, and Robert Henry, of Shiprock; sisters Ella M. Williams, of Naschitti, Marian Newman, of Naschitti, Mable Tso, of Coyote Canyon, Marita Yazzie, of Gamerco, and Marylena Irving, of Naschitti; and four grandchildren. Manuelito was preceded in death by her father Alfred Manuelito; mother Bessie Manuelito and brothers Micheal Joe Manuelito and James B. Henry.

Pallbearers will be Virgil Manuelito, Jonathan Williams, Dalton James, Vernon Yazzie, Charolette Williams, Norbert Yazza and Derrick Johnson.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Naschitti Chapter House.
