HANNAH COOLIDGE FEARING - d. 4 DEC 1888 SUDDEN DEATH Last evening at 7 o'clock occurred the sudden death of Mrs. Hannah W.Fearing, a Scott County settler. She died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Rebecca Randall, 736 East Fourteenth Street. She was in her 88th year.
About 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon Mrs. Fearing became ill and complained of pain in the region of the heart. She began to fail rapidly and at 7 passed peacefully away. Deceased was a native of Watertown, Mass. -- born Jan. 31, 1801. She came west with her husband, Franklin Fearing, now deceased, in 1844, settling in Davenport, where she has since resided.
Seven children survive her: Henry, George, Franklin, Frederick, William, Theodore, and Mrs. Rebecca Randall.
