EDITH A. KELLS

Of Garvey Manor, died at 7 p.m. yesterday, July 9, 1973, at Altoona Hospital, where she was admitted July 5. She was born in Derry on Dec. 10, 1884, a daughter of Arthur and Evelyn Reffner, and married Dr. Roy J. Kells, who died in 1942. Surviving are six children, Dr. John R. and Mrs. June R. Johnston of Altoona, James E. of Deerfield, Ill., Mrs. Mary Jane Scoville of Arlington, Va., L. Robert of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Regina Ray of Naperville, Ill.; 22 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Kells was a member of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America, Columbian Circle and Holy Rosary Guild. She will repose at the Barton-Stevens Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.

KELLS – Services for Mrs. Edith A. Kells of Garvey Manor will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday with a Mass of the Resurrection at Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. She will repose at the Gilden Barton-T.J. Stevens Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
