Wm. Levan Deeter died of a lung affection at 2.50 a. m., at the residence of his son-in-law, John W. Morrison, 36 South 10th, after an illness of 6 years. was 2 months. He was born in Exeter, and was son of John and
Catharine Deeter, both deceased many years. His father, for many years, was engaged in the carpet weaving business. Deceased, after his father's death, which occurred when he was but 9 years of age, came to Reading, He learned painting, and for 40 was in the employ of the 11. & R. company. He did fancy painting in the company's passenger cars. He retired from work 11 years адо. He was a member of St. John's
Reformed church. His wife, Rosanna, died 33 years ago. He was the youngest of 12 children. His age was 6+ years. One daughter, Mrs. Sallie S., wife of John W. Morrison, survives.
