Altoona, PA, Mirror, October 8, 1964:
Robert Weiser
Of 2700 11th St., died at 4:10 a.m. today in the Altoona Hospital, where he was admitted Oct. 3, after an extended illness. He was born at Belleville May 16, 1874, a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Weiser [Incorrect: son of Robert and Catherine George Weiser], and married Grace Stevens, who died in 1946. Surviving are seven children, Edwin S., of Philadelphia, Richard B. of St. Petersburg, Fla., Mrs. Walter Johnson, Mrs. Howard Hoover and Mrs. Roy Miller, all of Altoona, Mrs. Frances McKenzie of Manassas, Va., and Mrs. Harry Kipp of Alexandria, Va., 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Grace Methodist Church and retired as a pipefitter from the P.R.R. freight ship in 1939. Friends may call at the Lafferty Funeral Home after 7 p.m. tomorrow.
