Services Tuesday For Mrs. Peterson
Cleburne, July 30.--Mrs. Oscar Peterson died at her home on Shannon creek Friday after a lingering illness. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home and at 2:30 o'clock at the Olsburg Lutheran church.
Mrs. Peterson is survived by her husband and five children , Joel and Helen of the home; Harold of Galens, Kan., the Rev. Royal Peterson of Big Lake, Minn., and the Rev. Kenneth Peterson of Warrod, Minn. (D.A.E., The Morning Chronicle, Manhattan, Kansas, 31 July 1940, Wed., Page 6)
Funeral
Mrs. Oscar Peterson, who died last Friday after a long illness, was given funeral services at the Lutheran church Tuesday afternoon. Pastor Ernest Nelson had charge of the services. Mrs Peterson was 75 years old. She was a member of the Lutheran church and had served as Sunday school teacher and in many other ways in the church. She is survived by her husband , one son Joel, and a daughter Helen of the home; three other sons, Harold Peterson and Pastor Kenneth and Royal Peterson of Minnesota.
