Max was the son of Katy Ruth Kimball Branch and the late Paul. S. Branch, Jr. He was a graduate of Fitzgerald High School and attended Ben Hill Irwin Technical College. He was a retired maintenance supervisor at Southern Roasted Nuts. Mr. Branch also was a farmer and former employee of CSX Railroad and Elixir Industries.

Mr. Branch is survived by his wife, Sheila Parrish Branch; Sons: Brian (Sharie) Branch and Andy (Sherri) Branch; mother: Katy Ruth Kimball Branch; Favorite Sister: Peggy Branch (Bill) Hornback; brother: Ronny (Karen) Branch; grandchildren: Briana Branch, Hunter Branch, Erica Branch, Braxton Branch and Emilly Ammons; great grandchild: Bentley Branch.
