Warren Eakin Silva passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at East Jefferson Hospital. He was the husband of Dorothea Guidroz Silva. Father of Bonnielyn Silva Perilloux (husband, Roy) and Timothy W. Silva. Grandfather of Kimberly Perilloux Tyler (husband, Chad), Warren Preston Perilloux (wife, Debbie) and Lauren Perilloux Gibson (husband, John). Great-grandfather of Shelby Marie Perilloux, Grey Eakin Tyler and Olivia Lofton Tyler. Uncle Buck to Terry, Donald, Gary, Wayne and Philip Silva and Cathy Silva Melancon.
Age 87, a veteran of WW II serving in the Army Air Corps and was the Branch manager for Whirlpool Corporation.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 15, 2009 from the New Orleans home of Jacob Schoen & Son, 3827 Canal St. at N. Scott, New Orleans. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM and will last until Service time. Interment will follow in Hope Mausoleum.
