Eva Blanche Waldrop, 96 of Brazil passed away August 17, 2005 at St. Vincent Clay Hospital.

She was born December 16, 1908 in Arkansas, the daughter of Nomedo Baldwin and Sophia Brigham Baldwin.

December 18, 1927 she married Emery Lester Waldrop. Shortly after that they moved to the Brazil area. During WW II she worked in the tomato-canning factory in Brazil. Her true vocation in life was one of a care-giver and nurturer. She visited many of the elderly in the local nursing homes and with the home bound sick. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Rock Run Church.

She is survived by her children, Dorothy Reberger and her husband Bill of Reelsville, and Nina Shoemaker of Carbon; one son in law, Roy Hardesty; 9 grandchildren, Galen Hardesty and wife Mary Jane, Kea Cauldwell and husband Rick, Lisa Toney and husband Wayne, Denisa Timberman and husband John, Chantell Purcell and husband Jim, Tammy Archer, Brian Shoemaker and wife Lorie, Sabrina Schlegel and husband Tony, Carrie Shoemaker; 21 great-grandchildren, Kenneth, Jennifer, Caleb, Jordan, Seth, Chad, Amy, Andrew, Gabrielle, Evvie Kate, Jake, Ashley, Andrea, Jeff, Jason, Jessica, Natalie, Brady, Brittany, Cody, Andric; several nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Emery Waldrop passed away in 1970; one daughter, Genevieve Hardesty; son in law, Warren "Don" Shoemaker; granddaughter Leah Jo Hardesty Watt, three brothers, Ernest Baldwin, Robert Baldwin, Sammy Baldwin; one sister Hazel Burns.

Funeral Information
Services will be held Saturday at 10:00 am at Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 E National Ave., with Pastor Tom Roeschlein officiating. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8pm.
