Sara was the second wife of John Hubert "Hubert" Prestridge and he was the son of John Benjamin C. "Bud" and Maude (Sorrell) Prestridge. I do not have an exact birth date for Sara. The Mount Era Cemetery mentioned is almost directly across the road from the Mount Era United Methodist Church in rural Shelby Co., AL.

(October 12, 1929 - August 24, 2011)

Prestridge, Sara Bozeman, age 81, a resident of Columbiana, AL, died on Wednesday, August 24, 2011. Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Mt. Era Cemetery with Sister Mary Seale, Rev. Dennis Agnew officiating. The family will receive friends 1 to 2 PM, Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Mt. Era Methodist Church. Mrs. Prestridge is preceded in death by her husband, John Hubert Prestridge and son, Lewis Charles (Chuck) Walton. Mrs. Prestridge is survived by her daughter, Donna Walton (Wiley) Bibb; granddaughters, Denna Walton (Johnny) Brown, Carime Sue Bibb; great granddaughters, Anna Cordelia Brown, Ally Caroline Brown; sisters, Mildred Baldwin, Flora Foster; brother, Robert Howard Bozeman and numerous other family and friends.
