Shirley Joan Shelton, 77, of Grand Island died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011 at Central City Care Center. Shirley was born Dec. 1, 1934, in Omaha to Ernest and Lucinda (Goodner) Howland.
She married Stanley Shelton March 12, 1955, in Grand Island. He died July 7, 1983.
Survivors are: son, Steve Shelton of Grand Island; daughters, Shaunna Shelton of Highlands Ranch, Colo. and Shari Stephens of Wichita, Kan.; two brothers, Larry Howland and Johnny Howland; and several grandchildren.
Graveside were at the Grand Island City Cemetery, Grad Island, NE.
