HEABERLIN, Cynthia (Buskirk)

Mrs. Cynthia Buskirk Heaberlin, 84, mother of the Rev. Lawrence R. Buskirk, pastor of the First Methodist Church in Catlettsburg, and former pastor of the Louisa Methodist Church, died at 2:20 p.m. Friday September 15 at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Hershel Adams on route 1, Greenup, KY. Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday from the Three-Mile Christian Baptist Church on Route 1, Greenup, with the Rev. William Hamilton officiating. Burial was in Ashland Cemetery. Surviving are her husband, Thomas Heaberlin; two sons, the Rev. Buskirk, C. L. Buskirk of Oak Ridge, TN; two stepsons, Thomas Heaberlin of Franklin Furnace, OH, and Ray Heaberlin of Worthington, KY; five brothers, McKinley and Wallace Whitt of Owingsville, KY, Revis Whitt of Benton Harbor, MI and Stanley and Ray Whitt of Lillybrook, WV; three sisters, Mrs. Alma Lewis and Mrs. Earl Cregar of Princewick, WV and Mrs. Vestie Gross of Fairborn, OH, and 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
