Soldier of Coal Creek War Dies In Rossville.
George B. Adkins [sic], a veteran of the memorable labor unpleasantness at Coal Creek, died at 10:45 yesterday morning at his home in Rossville. After an illness of four days of menigitis [sic].
He leaves a wife and three children.
The funeral will be from the residence at 2:30 this afternoon. The pallbearers will be Col. T. B. Patterson, Capt. J.P. Fyffe, Col. H. F. Wenning and three to be selected from the Woodmen of the World, Camp No . 6, of which he was a member. The three named were associates of the deceased in a military way. Interment will be at Forest Hills.
