FLORA COLLETTE CALBREATH
Miss Flora Collette, daughter of Mrs. Belle Calbreath of Humeston, Iowa, was born June 4th, 1886, at Humeston, Iowa, and died in Des Moines at the home of her sister, Mrs. Wade, on the morning of Jan. 22nd, at the age of 33 years, 7 months and 18 days.
She united with the Presbyterian church when quite a young girl, grew to womanhood in this community, graduating from the Humeston High School with the class of 1905.
For the last ten years she had lived in Lincoln, Nebraska, where she was employed as stenographer in the offices of the Woodman Accident Insurance Co., making her home with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Christie.
For fourteen months she has been critically ill, but lately gave promise of regaining her health, when a sudden change for the worst came and she expired a few hours thereafter.
She goes to join a baby sister and her father, and is survived by her mother, Mrs. Belle Calbreath of Humeston; a sister, Mrs. Coy Wade of Des Moines and a brother, Lloyd Calbreath of Keokuk, together with relatives and a host of friends bother here and at Lincoln, Nebraska.
Funeral services were conducted at the Congregational Church after which loving hands tenderly laid all that was mortal to rest in the Humeston cemetery to await the resurrection of the just.
