Windfall Man Succumbs Today

H. E. McCool, 65, Windfall,
died at 7 a.m. today in Tipton
Hospital, following a stroke suffered
Saturday night at his
home. Services will be held at
1:30 p.m. Thursday from the
Assembly of Lord Jesus Christ
Church in Windfall and burial
will be in Brookside Cemetery,
Windfall. Friends may call after
Wednesday noon at the Pritchard
Funeral Home in Windfall
or for one hour prior to services
at the church.

The deceased was in born in
Mississippi March 13, 1901, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Ed McCool. He
was married in Missouri to the
former Madgie Malugen and
moved to Windfall in the early
1930's where he was employed
by the Street Department until
ill health forced his retirement.
His wife preceded him in death
in 1965.

Survivors include two daughters,
Mrs. Charlene Menz, Kankakee,
III., Mrs. Gracie Thurston,
Windfall: four sons, Hal of
St. Louis, Paul of Elwood,
Thomas and Larry of Windfall;
two brothers, Richard of Houston,
Texas and Davis of Pontiac,
Michigan: two sisters, Mrs.
Fannie McGruder of Windfall
and Mabel Whittenburg of Pontiac,
Michigan; 16 grandchildren.
