Private funeral services will be conducted by Elliott Sons, Telfair Street.
Mrs. Barton was a native of New York City but had lived in Augusta 33 years. She was a member of the Roman Catholic church.
Survivors include one son, R.O. Barton Jr. Augusta; one daughter, Mrs. Clare B. Redd, San Angelo, Tex; and one sister, Mrs. Helen H. Wynn, Augusta.
