He was a member of Memphis Iowa Club Board of Directors.
Mr. Arps, the husband of Jean E. Arps, also leaves two daughters, Vanessa Arps Keith and Celeste Rachele Arps, both of Cordova; his parents, Patricia and Lowell Arps of Woodbine, Iowa, and a sister, Mary Jo Arps Bonsall of Dunlap, Iowa.
The family requests that memorials be sent to the American Heart Association or the Memphis Iowa Club Scholarship Fund.
