Gayle P. Allemore, 72, a native of Thibodaux and Marrero and resident of Thibodaux, died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Thibodaux. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Frances Fleury Allemore; two daughters, Kim Allemore, and Jude Ann Landry and husband, Lut; four brothers, Robert Allemore, Floyd Allemore, Lynwood Allemore and Curtis Allemore; one sister, Darlene Hartman; and two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Lillian Allemore.
He was a past member of the North Thibodaux Fire Company.
