Mr. Burch was born in the old Burch Homestead in Greenfield Township. He became interested in the oil business and lived for a few years in West Virginia before moving to Oklahoma where he operated a dairy farm farm for five years. He then came to Greenfield Township. His farming activities together with his retail milk business for many years made him a large acquaintance in this section who will mourn his loss.

Besides these two brothers, he leaves another brother, Lyle, North East; one niece, Mrs. Florence Murphy, of North East; and one nephew, Clifford Burch, of Shawnee, Okla. He was the husband of the late Nellie Burch.
