JOHN W. DONEL, eldest son of the late Samuel and Harriette Donel was born April 1st., 1852 and died after a lingering illness, February 6th., 1930, aged 77 years, 10 months and 5 days. Mr. Donel spent his entire life in this vicinity. He was preceded in death by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Minnie Payne.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Loose of Columbus, one son, Charles Donel of Cleveland, and ten grandchildren, Daniel Loose, Charles Loose, Mrs. Louise Van Antwerp and Miss Janet Donel all of Cleveland, Donel Loose, Robert Loose, John Payne and Howard Payne of Columbus, Mrs. Lucia Whitesell of Crestline and Mrs. Irma Bixler of Bellville.

Funeral services were held at the home on Huron Street Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock and burial was made in the Bellville Cemetery by A.A. Shafer. Rev. Temple conducted the services.
