WILLIAM LOUIS TINDER
William Louis Tinder, 91, Platte City, died yesterday at a hospital in Leavenworth, Kas. He was a lifelong Platte County resident. Mr. Tinder worked for the Missouri highway department before he retired. He was a member of the Platte City Christian church. Surviving are his wife, Frances May Tinder of the home; a son Fields Tinder, Weston; three daughters, Mrs. Annie Babcock, Farley in Platte County; Mrs. Virginia Fay Hilscher, Leavenworth, and Mrs. Allie VanHoozer, 415 East U.S. 69; a sister, Mrs.Nellie Noland, Platte City; five brothers, Walter Tinder, Weston; J. T. Tinder, Guy Tinder, Victor Tinder, and Lloyd Tinder, all of Platte City; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, Services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday at the church; burial in Platte City cemetery. Friends may call after 7 o'clock tonight at the Rollins chapel, Platte City.
