Eloise Ann (Lenci) Rustvold, 81, of Great Falls, died of natural causes Tuesday, Aug. 23, at a local hospital.
Visitation is 4 to 7 pm. today at Schnider Funeral Home. Funeral Liturgy is 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Eloise was born Feb. 19, 1930, to Ida and Louis Lenci. She was raised and educated in Black Eagle, Mont. She attended Hawthorne/Collins Elementary in Black Eagle and St. Mary's High School in Great Falls.
In July 1946, Eloise married Vernon Rustvold at Blessed Sacrament Church in Black Eagle. They were happily married for almost 60 years.
During her career, she was employed by Farmer's Union Insurance, Home Insurance, and Hartford Insurance. When she retired, she was executive secretary to the regional vice president of Waddell and Reed Inc.
She served as a board member for the American Red Cross. She loved to dress up and will always be remembered as a classy lady.
Eloise loved to travel with her beloved husband, Vern. They visited Japan, Okinawa, Fiji and the Samoan Islands, Australia, and had many trips to the Hawaiian Islands. She frequently visited her daughter in Washington, D.C., and grandson in New York City.
She enjoyed music and dancing, especially tap dancing. She also enjoyed playing the piano for family gatherings. She had a special love for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her many friends. On special occasions Eloise would entertain her family and friends with her many costumes.
Survivors include a daughter, Karin Schiffman of Potomac, Md.; a son, Bruce (Marilyn) Rustvold of Great Falls; a sister, Eleanor Topel of Missoula; a brother, Earl Lenci (Charlene) of Great Falls; grandchildren Andrew (Jolynn) Rustvold, Hannah Rustvold, Matt Schiffman and Rebekah Schiffman; and two great-grandchildren, Riley and Makenzie Rustvold.
She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Rustvold; and sons Alan and Richard Rustvold.
