In 1900 the couple moved to Michigan, where they conducted a farm with his brother for three years. They then returned to this area and operated farms in Salisbury and Fairfield.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Cora) Peeler, with whom he lived; three brothers, Irving, California; Bert, Oneida and Sheldon, Herkimer; a sister, Mrs. Ordis Hooper, Oneida; a granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
