Surviving wife, Dorothy BOLT Hellams, two sons, Pierce Hellams of Laurens, SC, and Robert Newton Hellams of Summerville, SC; one brother, James Woodrow Hellams of Ware Shoals, SC; three sisters, Jennie Robinson of Williamston, SC, Lyda Richards of Woodruff, SC, and Gladys Bull of Clinton, SC.
