Mrs. Sigrid Engstrand died in her sleep Tuesday morning at her home a few miles south of Lindstrom following a week's illness with cold and other complications. She had reached the age of 67 years and two months.
Funeral services will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church here tomorrow, Friday, afternoon at 2:00. Those asked to serve as pallbearers are: George Gummerson, Glendon Ledin, Caleb Ledin, Charles Swenson, Gust E. Peterson, and Herman Peterson. Interment will be made at the Fairview Cemetery.
The husband of the deceased and one son, have preceded her in death. Her husband died in 1930 and Arvid, the son, in 1924. Left to mourn is one son Alvar and two sisters, Mrs. Marie Foss of Lindstrom and Mrs. Johan Knutson of Norway.
Mrs. Sigrid Christina Engstrand was born in Bardo Molsalvena Prustogald, Norway and came to America in 1902. She was married to August Engstrand at Hillsboro, ND in 1907 and lived there until 1912 when they moved to a farm 4 miles south of Lindstrom residing there since.
