BYRD SERVICES WEDNESDAY
Randy Ray Byrd, 17, of Rt. 1 Valliant, died Sunday in a drowning accident in Glover River.
Services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Fort Towson School with Rev. Bill Boyd officiating. Interment will be in the Valliant Cemetery.
Born Sept. 19, 1964 in Spearman, Texas, Byrd had lived all his life in Choctaw County and was a senior at Fort Towson High School. He was a member of the Swink Baptist Church.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lesley Byrd of Valliant and Linda Tyler of Texas; three sisters, Renee Shufeldt of Fort Towson, Sheila Sandborn and Michelle, both of Valliant; two brothers, Vurley Byrd and Lesley Byrd Jr., both of Valliant; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Livingston of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Mr. and Mrs. Leamon Fowler of Millerton, Lesley D. Byrd of Valliant, Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Easterwood of Fort Towson; his great grandparents, Ollie Justice of Hugo, Ida Ridenour of Fort Towson and Luster Byrd of Swink.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Leonard Funeral Home.
