Ida Belle Quesinberry, 67, of Laurel Fork, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center. Mrs. Quesinberry was born in Carroll County to the late Floyd Arthur Barr and Emily Jane Haynes Barr.
Survivors include her husband Thomas M. Quesinberry of the home; children and spouses Margie and Robert Whitaker of Austinville, Tommy and Jamee Quesinberry of Hillsville, Richard and Laura Quesinberry of Laurel Fork, and William H. Quesinberry of Laurel Fork; sisters Nancy Crotts of Mount Airy, NC, Iona Bostic of Mount Airy, NC, Mary Jane Holt of Pinnacle, NC, and Lula Sapp of Mount Airy, NC; brothers Robert Lee Barr of Cana and Walt Barr of Mount Airy, NC; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Pastor Michael Shockley and Rev. Winston Puckett officiating. Burial will follow in the Hurst Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family for funeral expenses and sent to Tommy Quesinberry P.O. 232, Hillsville, VA 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
