Laurence 'Larry' Arrowood of West Chester

Laurence 'Larry' Arrowood, 79, of West Chester, PA, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 1990, in Southern Chester County Medical Center, Jennersville, PA.

He was the husband of Margaret "Ted" Moulton Arrowood.

Born in Relief, NC, he was the son of the late Edward and Mary Etta Willis Arrowood.

He lived in West Chester since 1936 and prior to that, he lived in Oxford, PA.

He was self-employed as a carpenter for many years and retired in 1974. He was formerly employed by Earl Thomas, carpenter.

He attended the United Methodist Church.

He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 908 West Chester and also was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose in Stuart, Fla.

He was an avid boater and was the past commander of Flotilla 43, US Coast Guard Auxiliary, where he was a permanent member.

He and his wife were married for 54 years.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are five brothers, Earl Arrowood of West Chester, PA, Bruce Arrowood of Mehoopany, PA, and Troy Arrowood of Tunkhannock, PA, Alfred Arrowood of Lewisville, PA, and Jack Arrowood of Downingtown, PA; a sister, Alberta Beyer of Broomall, PA; several nieces and nephews; several grand-nieces and nephews; several grand-grand-nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Founds Funeral Home Inc., High and Union Streets, West Chester, PA.

Friends may call in the funeral home on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Interment will be in Oxford Cemetery, Oxford, PA.
