Robert "Bob" Forrest Rhyne, 82, died at 2:45 PM Wednesday [June 17, 1987] in Heritage Healthcare, West Lafayette, following five years of failing health. Born May 23, 1905, in West Lafayette, he had lived most of his life in this area. His marriage was Aug. 15, 1925, in West Lafayette, to Agnes M. Grove, who survives.
Mr. Rhyne had been a meter-tester at Duncan Electric for 33 years before his retirement. He was a charter member of Tippy-Canoe Camper Club.
Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Crum of Lafayette and Mrs. Rose Marie Mason of Dyer; a sister, Mrs. Clara Cheesman of Napoleon, OH; nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
