Wilma Jeanne (Anderson) Cummins was born in Guthrie, Oklahoma September 25, 1927 to Chauncey and Etta Anderson. Wilma Jeanne and Joseph Sylvester Cummins were married on May 24, 1952 and they shared 59 happy years together. Wilma Jeanne was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, teacher, artist, actress, dancer, musician and friend. She recieved her degree at Phillips University and Masters in childhood education at University of Tulsa. She taught at numerous schools including Tulsa Public Schools, Tulsa Community College and University of Tulsa. Wilma Jeanne was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church in Tulsa, OK. She was also an accomplished actress with roles in many movies such as UHF, The Ripper and The Christmas Child as well as several commercials. Wilma and Joseph danced their way across the nation, won many awards and wowed many, many people. Wilma entertained many people with her musical talents, and witty personality, especially with her talent to play the pop bottles nationally and internationally. She won numerous awards for her wide variety of skilled and unbelievable artwork. She served in many organizations including Lazy Daisy Retired Teachers Group, Omni Book Club, Philbrook, Gilcrease, SAG, AFTRA, Jazz Hall of Fame, Moose Lodge, Spotlight Theater and Red Glove Review. She is survived by her loving husband Joseph Cummins and Daughters: Jeanetta Kay Arnold, Bunny Gail Cline and husband Mike Cline, Mary Jo Stoops and husband Darrell Stoops and Susan Dee Cummins. Grandchildren: Jeremy and wife Jamie Buller, Candice and husband Dave Henderson, Jill and husband Billy Tuggle, Chelsea and husband Aaron Wedel, Scott Conrady, Matt and wife Stephanie Cline, Andrew Cline, Vincent and wife Kim Stoops, Adrienne and husband Micah Seibel, Jared and wife Lindsay Stoops, Racheal and husband Kyle Weisensee, Derek and wife Stormy Stoops and Melanie and husband Jonathan Schneider. Great Grandchildren: Skylar, Kennedy, Makenzy, Brecken, Jada, Baron, Brawley, Ayden, Reagan, Kameron, Keegan and Lola. Funeral service will be held Friday, Aug. 26, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church.
