Mrs. Effie Veach, former resident of Greenwood County, died at the Salina Hospital early this morning (Thursday). She formerly lived at Upotia, moving to Stilwater, Oklahoma about 25 years age and to Salina one year ago.
She is survived by a daughter, Marticia Boston of Iowa and a son Marshall Veach of Salina, also a grandson Elmo Lowery of Venezuela. Two son and a daughter died in infancy.
Funeral service will be held from Kribble Funeral Home Saturday March 24 at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
