Born in Doraville to John and Georgia Copeland Farmer, he served in WWII in the Army Air Corp and was retired from General Motors.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Poss Farmer.
He is survived by his daughters, Judy Sanders and her husband Marshall of Canton and Linda Buice and her husband Charles of Roswell; grandchildren, Lorie and Toney Canup, Elaine and Jeff Coggins and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 25 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Carl Jameson, Rev. Jack Hardeman and Rev. A.M. Samples officiating. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery.
