DEATH OF MRS. HEIE EVERTS.

Mrs. Heie Everts died suddenly at her home five miles east of Mount Olive, Ills., at 7:30 Monday morning, September 6, 1926, at the ages of 63 years, 5 months and 14 days. Death followed an illness of several years from heart trouble. Funeral services were held Thursday, September 9, at the New Salems Evangelical church at New Douglas, Ills., Rev. Haller of Alhambra officiating. Burial was in the cemetery of New Douglas

Louise Johanntosettel was born March 22, 1863, in St. Louis, Mo. At the age of three years she with her parents moved to a farm near New Douglas, Ills., where she grew to womanhood. In 1877 she was confirmed in the Evangelical church at Alhambra, Ills. On March 7, 1883, she was united in marriage to Heie Everts of New Douglas. To this union three children were born, Edward, John and Anna. She leaves to mourn her loss, besides her husband, on son, Edward of Gustave, S. D., and a daughter, Anna, at home. One son, John, preceded her in death in 1918 at Belle Fourche, S. D. She also leaves on daughter-in-law, Mrs. Edward (Iola Etta) Everts, and one grand-daughter, Louetta Everts, Gustave, S. D.; one sister, Mrs. Mary Eilermann, St. Louis, Mo.; one half-brother, Louis Johanntosettel, Alhambra, Ills.; a number of nieces and nephews and numerous other relatives. Two brothers, Fred and Henry, preceded her in death and three sisters died in infancy.

Mr. And Mrs. Everts spent the year 1917 with their sons and daughter new Gustave, S. D., and have numerous friends in that locality who will regret her passing. She was a patient sufferer, a faithful friend, and a unselfish wife and mother.
