Services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Stanly Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ross Tracy officiating. Burial will be in Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Winter Haven, Fla.
Mrs. Judd was the daughter of the late Charles Nixon and Glenna Corinne Veatch, Sr.
She graduated from the Georgia State College for Women in Milledgeville with a 4 year degree in Elementary Education. She was an elementary school teacher and retired Insurance Agent.
She was a member of Beymer United Methodist Church in Winter Haven, Fla. She was an avid sportsman, playing tennis and golf.
She was married to the late Norman P. Judd who preceded her in death in 2000; two brothers and four sisters also preceded her in death.
Survivors include a brother, Herbert Veatch and wife Catherine of Albemarle, N. C.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family received friends at the Stanley Funeral Home from 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the hour of the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that Memorials maybe made to the donor's choice.
Stanly Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
