Bonnie Bertus White, 92, of McComb, died August 19, 2011 at McComb Nursing and Rehab. She was born December 5, 1918 in Natalbany, LA. She was the daughter of James E. and Alice Rodgers Bertus. She was a homemaker and a member of Fernwood Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Burton Thomas White; one brother, Alton E. Bertus and two sisters, Hilda B. Wannamaker and Althalee B. Quinn. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Alice Jane and Frank B. Smith, Jr. of McComb and Judi and Philip Planchard, Jr. of Fernwood; six grandchildren, Philip Planchard, III, Michael Planchard, Kimberly A. Smith, Jeffrey Planchard, Candice S. McDaniel and Frank B. Smith, III and two great-grandchildren, Cori Planchard and Connor Planchard. Visitation is Monday at Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home in McComb from 9AM until services at 11AM with Rev. Wayne Hall officiating. Burial will be in Hollywood cemetery.
